Mission Statement
At 825 Marching, our mission is to support music programs and ensembles by providing reliable, high-quality instruments built for real performance environments. We are committed to making durable, consistent, and accessible instruments available to the students, educators, and performers who rely on them every day.
Through a manufacturer-direct approach powered by B.A.C. Musical Instruments, we work closely with schools, nonprofits, and organizations to reduce unnecessary costs, improve long-term sustainability, and help programs grow with equipment they can trust season after season.
Above all, we believe in building a stronger community through music by forming long-term partnerships with the ensembles and educators we serve.
About 825 Marching
825 Marching was created with a clear purpose: to support ensembles and music programs with instruments built for real performance environments.
Powered by BAC Musical Instruments, a Kansas City–based manufacturer located in the Historic Jazz District, 825 Marching focuses on providing reliable, durable, and consistent instruments designed to meet the demands of marching bands, indoor ensembles, drum corps, and show-style programs. These are environments where equipment must withstand rigorous rehearsals, travel, and high-level performance expectations throughout the season.
Unlike traditional distribution models that rely on multiple layers of markups and middlemen, 825 operates through a manufacturer-direct approach. By working directly with schools, nonprofits, and music programs, we are able to provide high-quality brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments while helping programs plan more sustainably and stretch their budgets further.
Our instruments have been used and trusted in real performance settings, including drum corps and collegiate programs, where durability, consistency, and reliability are essential. Every product is developed with a focus on long-term performance, not just short-term presentation.
Beyond instruments, 825 Marching is rooted in a larger mission of community impact. We actively support music programs across the country, including involvement with HBCU band programs, community organizations, and national performance events. We are committed to making music education more accessible while helping programs secure the equipment they need to succeed.
At its core, 825 Marching is not just about selling instruments. It is about building long-term partnerships with educators, directors, and performers. We believe that when programs have access to reliable equipment and direct support, they are better positioned to grow, perform, and inspire the next generation of musicians.
Our goal is simple: provide instruments that can be trusted season after season, support the communities that make music possible, and continue building a stronger community through music.
